Indian Flag to be hoisted at Times Square on India's 75th Independence Day

August 15 marks the Independence day of India. 2021 is the Diamond Jubilee for the Independence day. The NRIs in the United States are planning to make the independence day more memorable.
The 75th anniversary of Independence Day will be celebrated in the United States with the Federation of Indian Associations making big plans.
The famous commercial intersection Times Square is going to don Tri colour for the second time after 2020.
Besides this, the biggest Indian flag would be unfurled at the Times Square on August 15.
The celebrations will be started with the flag hoisting followed by liting up the Times Square building.
Later, the attendees will take part in the celebrations at the gala cruise. The attendees include government officials and Indian-American community members.
