Indo-American Director Arriving With His 2nd Hollywood Flick!

Aneesh Chaganty earned a lot of fame with his first film 'Searching'. This Indo-American filmmaker's maiden Hollywood flick did very well at the box office. It was a mystery thriller about a father searching for his lost teenage daughter through smartphones and computers. He also has a police detective helping him.
This movie earned critical appreciation as well as money. Aneesh made a lot of headlines when the movie minted $26 million in the North American market and collected $76 million worldwide. This movie is the inspiration for Fahadh Faasil's 'C U Soon' which was released during the lockdown period on a popular OTT platform and got decent reception.
Now, Aneesh Changanty is getting ready with his second movie which is going to be named 'Searching 2' or 'Missing'. The entire team that worked on 'Searching' was brought back together and this film will be coming out on 1st January 2023. This time, Aneesh is providing the story while the directing, editing and production are done by people who worked on 'Searching' as well.
In 'Missing', the story revolves around June. Her mother goes missing and she uses all the technology in her hand to find the whereabouts of her mom before anything unfortunate happens. She will be knowing a lot of unknown secrets about her mother while she digs into her mother's files. Let us wait and see how this thriller turns out on the first day of the New Year.
