Keerthy Suresh has tried to take her next step in life as an actress post Mahanati success. But none of her films post that blockbuster success have been able to repeat it. Good Luck Sakhi, Annathe/Peddanna, Penguin, Miss India have failed.
Now, she is coming with Saani Kaayidam/Chinni, an intense Revenge Drama. Arun Matheswaran is directing the film and it will stream on Amazon Prime Video from 6th May.
Film premise is pretty straight forward. The movie story involves Ponni, character played by Keerthy Suresh taking revenge on upper caste employers who raped her, burnt her baby and husband alive due to his involvement in politics.
She takes the help of her brother played by Selva Raghavan. Director of 7/G Brindhavan Colony and Aaduvaari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule in Telugu, Selva Raghavan is doing full length role in the film after Vijay's Beast.
