Is 2022 Going To Be Prabhas's Year?

Speaking at the pre-release event of Saaho, Prabhas said he would like to have at least two new releases every year. But he couldn't have been more inaccurate. His immediate next film, Radhe Shyam has been in the making for close to three years and it is yet to hit the silver screens. Prabhas did not have a single theatrical release post Saaho which released back in 2019. However, it appears to be that 2022 will be Prabhas's year. As things stand, Prabhas will have not just one or two, but a total of three new releases in 2022. These three films are Adiprush, Salaar, and Radhe Shyam.
While Radhe Shyam will be out next Sankranthi, Salaar and Adipurush will be out later that year. To be precise, Radhe Shyam will be releasing on 14th January next year. As for Salaar and Adipurush these films will be out on 14th April and 11th August respectively. While Radhe Shyam had wrapped up the shoot and is all set for release, Adipurush and Salaar are still in the early stages of production. These two films are expected to be completed only towards the end of 2021.
As everyone knows already, Radhe Shyam, Salaar, and Adipurush are pan-India films. As per trade reports, around Rs 1000 crores are riding on these three films as they are being mounted on a massive scale. Adipurush is the costliest of the lot as around Rs 300 crores are being spent on the project. If these films click at the box office, they will easily collect twice as much as their investment. If that happens, Prabhas can be declared as the one true superstar in Indian cinema and 2022 will most certainly be Prabhas's year.
Salaar and Adipurush are riding high on buzz already. Especially, Salaar, which marks the coming together of Prashanth Neel and Prabhas is one of the highly anticipated films in Indian cinema.The film is carrying positive reports already and it is billed to be a full-on mass masala action entertainer. The film features Shruti Hassan in the female lead role. As for Adipurush, the film is being directed by Om Raut,
