Birthday Poster: Is 'ICON' Still On Cards?

Prior to the start of 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo', stylish star Allu Arjun announced a couple of projects and 'ICON' is one of them. Produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, 'ICON' was announced officially along with a poster that vaguely explains the theme of the film.
The poster has a man riding on a bullet bike with a tagline 'Kanabaduta Ledu'. It created a lot of curiosity but the project never took off as Allu Arjun began shooting for 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' and after its success, he started 'Pushpa' with Sukumar. There were also rumors that this project was shelved as Allu Arjun wasn't convinced with the second half.
Also, Venu Sriram took up the responsibility of directing Pawan Kalyan's comeback film 'Vakeel Saab'. With everybody moving on, people that 'ICON' may not go on floors again. But to everyone's surprise, Dil Raju and his team wished Allu Arjun on his birthday with this 'ICON' poster giving clarity that this project is not off the table.
This film may start once Allu Arjun finishes 'Pushpa' and Dil Raju-Venu Sriram wraps up 'Vakeel Saab'. All we have to do is see when this project goes on floors.
