Is iSmart Shankar A Remake Or Freemake?

If the latest reports in circulation are to be believed, 'iSmart Shankar' is a remake of Korean flick 'iBoy' which is currently streamed on digital platform Netflix.
There was always criticism on Puri Jagannath that some of his movies were inspired from foreign-language films, especially the Korean Concepts. Yet another project of this Crazy Filmmaker seems to be a freemake or remake. Only after the release, A conclusion could be drawn whether if the 'chip in brain' idea was lifted from the Korean Flick or not.
From the audiences point of view, It doesn't matter whether if a film is a remake or freemake. All that matters is whether if it have the content to keen the viewers engaged for over two hours.
