Is it all over for YS Sharmila's party?

She came with a bang and is all set to end with a whimper. Yes. We are talking of YS Sharmila. It appears her era is over. The kind of coverage she used to get in the anti-Jagan media is now gradually coming down. Her party’s presence on social media too is gradually tapering off.
Initially, some media houses like the Andhra Jyothi gave her wide publicity. They gave her lot of hype. But, later, they too seem to have lost interest on YSRTP. On her part, Sharmila too is not showing any interest in giving interviews to media houses. The one or two interviews that she gave appeared scripted and choreographed.
At the same time, the interest in her weekly deekshas is coming down. The media coverage too is coming down. These events look more like corporate events. So, the party workers too are behaving more like paid employees. Leaders like Indira Sobhan could not stomach this and left the party. The media houses that did not give Sharmila any coverage gave reems of media space to Indira Shobhan.
As of now, the party does not have any effective communicator or spokesperson. Leaders like Konda Raghava Reddy do address press conferences, but he is not effective. Even those like Epuri Somanna, who have joined the party with great enthusiasm, are now said to be contemplating to leave the party. Clearly, the sheen is off at Sharmila's party. She will have to do something very big to stay afloat.
