Keerthy Suresh became popular as she could deliver a great performance in the movie Mananati, as Savitri. She has been lucky in Telugu to have 3 blockbusters in 4 straight films, she did.
But in Tamil, she had mixed fortunes with few films becoming big hits and few failing to even register good openings.
Now, she is doing Marakkar in Malayalam, her mother tongue with Mohan Lal, in the direction of Priyadarshan.
A new rumour is spread wide about her that she is demanding a remuneration of Rs. 2-3 crores and also asking a role for her grandmother.
She reacted to the reports and said, "I am amazed at how people try to spread fake things without thinking twice. My whole family is in splits reading the news that I am asking roles for my grandmother. She is an occasional actor not a professional, people should remember that!"
Anyways, Keerthy signed a new movie in Telugu and the details are yet to be announced officially, about it. Is she signing less films or these demands are lessening her chances, we can't say!
