Is Krish still associated with Manikarnika?

Krish has been given the credit of Director for the film, Manikarnika. The movie is about Queen of Jhansi during our Independent movement and she is regarded as the most valiant warrior.

Her story has become a legend and many historians shed light on how she is the reason for a good change in the attitude of women in India. Knowing about her and her battle completely will help many more women too.

Hence, Kangana took up the role and Vijayendra Prasad wrote the story. They wanted a good director and Krish took the movie as a challenge. He completed the entire shoot and showed the cut to producers.

For few scenes and one huge action sequence, producers asked for re-shoots. Krish by that time started his work on NTR biopic. So, Kangana decided to take over the project and directed the movie.

She worked with second unit of Krish and finished those shoots. Hence, Krish did not completely quit the project but he couldn't allott dates to shoot it. The equation between Krish and Kangana is not very smooth but not as bad as reported either, say sources.
