Is Nani really playing a 'V'illain?

It is hard to believe that in his 25th film, Nani is turning into a villain in the Movie, "V". He doesn't seem like a guy who wants to pull off such roles normally.
May be in his privacy, he might have expressed interest in playing a role that is entirely different from his other films and also his general attitude. He appears a happy-go-lucky guy than a seriously harmful person.
Well, in "V" he might not really be a bad guy. Actually, the rumour is that, Nani is playing a person who appears as a "Bad Guy" but not a bad one.
On the other hand, it is hard to believe that Sudheer Babu got a positive role in Nani's film also but he is playing a role that will turn on its head, it seems.
From the point the story starts to its end, the things change from one end of the spectrum where these two look like Hero and Villain to Villain and hero, by the time we reach to other end, it seems.
It is all about perceptions and hence, the title, "V" it seems. Aditi Rao Hydari is playing the lady lead in this film.
Mohankrishna Indraganti is directing the film and it is releasing on 25th March, 2020.
