Nithya To Play The Lead In Avasarala's Thriller Series?

Director and actor Avasarala Srinivas who is known for his soft films like 'Oohalu Gusa Gusalade' and 'Jyo Achyutananda' is said to have planned a thriller series. News is that it involves a heavy budget and Nithya Menen was approached to play the lead role. The 'Ala Modalaindi' star reportedly liked the script and this project may kick-start soon.
Nithya never hesitated from doing unconventional roles. She played a lesbian role in 'Awe!' and negative roles too. She recently amazed everyone with her performance in 'Breathe Into The Shadows' featuring herself and Abhishek Bachchan. Having Nithya on board will open the gates of the South market to Bollywood makers.
Avasarala's thriller series will be produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and an official confirmation is expected to come out shortly. The renowned production banner is making a movie with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan. It is a science fiction directed by 'Mahanati' fame Nag Ashwin.
