Is Pawan not really interested in films or is he waiting for something?

Pawan Kalyan became Ustad for his fans and Power Star for his admirers after he became a successful actor. He earned so much popularity that even when his films failed for 12 years at box office, he remained one of the top stars of Telugu Cinema.
The actor decided to join politics forever in 2014 after giving two blockbusters like Gabbar Singh and Attharintiki Daredi.
After announcing political entry, he delivered flops like Sardar Gabbar Singh, Katamarayudu and Agnyathavasi. After Agnyathavasi, he announced that he doesn't want to act in films anymore.
He announced that he wants to continue working as a politician and he will produce films to earn his livelihood.
But his twin debacle in 2019 elections, made many of fans request him to continue acting in good films and work on his image, again. They want him to do powerful films and roles that suit his political ideology.
