Is Pooja The Heroine Or An Item Girl In VD's Next?

Star heroine Pooja Hegde is currently one of the busiest actresses in the country. Apart from working in a couple of Hindi films like 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' and 'Cirkus', she has always said that she will give first priority to Telugu. She is currently the heroine in the Mahesh-Trivikram project, Naga Chaitanya's next, Pawan Kalyan's 'Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh' and many others.
For the past couple of weeks, there is a discussion going on that Pooja Hegde will be a part of Vijay Deverakonda's next project 'Jana Gana Mana' which will be made under Puri Jagannadh's direction. Some of them suggest that she will play the leading lady's role in this flick while there are a few who suggest that she is being roped in for a special song in 'Jana Gana Mana'.
Responding to all this, the PR team of Pooja decided to clarify on this issue. They stated that Pooja is doing any item song in 'Jana Gana Mana' and added that she will join the sets of the team in the second week of June. She will be seen as the heroine in this project and a few key sequences will be filmed on Pooja and Vijay Deverakonda in this schedule. 'Jana Gana Mana' is another crazy project in her kitty.
Pooja's last three projects namely 'Radhe Shyam', 'Beast' and 'Acharya' ended up as huge failures. Despite having a lot of offers in her kitty, Pooja is looking to wipe away the iron leg image on her. Her special song in 'F3' got a decent response and the film is currently performing well at the box office. Let us wait and see how the pair of Vijay and Pooja looks on the screen.
