The complete episode of 'Koffee With Karan' featuring Samantha and Akshay Kumar is out now and what they spoke is already going viral on social media. As we know, the star actress is trying to make it big in Bollywood and she is working on a couple of projects which involves big stars. With her appearance on 'Koffee With Karan', her popularity is surely going up by a few notches.
As expected, Karan Johar touched upon the topic of Samantha's ex-husband Naga Chaitanya. The couple parted ways in October of last year and it was a shocker to many at that time. When Karan referred to Chaitanya as husband, Sam was quick to correct it as "Ex-husband".
Talking about her personal life being all over the internet, she said, "I've put a lot on the public domain because the audience are always a part of my life. I chose that path to be transparent. When the separation happened, as the audience invested hugely in my life, I had to reveal it to them." She added, "Life has been hard, but it's good now. I'm better than okay now. I'm stronger than I've ever," when asked about her life post-divorce.
She even quoted Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConnaughe's words from his biography which says, "In the art of life, I've not scored A's all the time, rather take an experienced C than an ignorant A." After that, Karan questioned her whether she is still angry with her ex-husband, Sam suggested as a 'Yes' and added, "Is it like if we two are put in a room where we hide sharp objects?, yes, I'm in that zone."
