Is This The First Mass Film To Release On OTT Soon?

The demand for content on TV, OTTs has surged double the need and all the platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hotstar are desperately adding content to help their audience.
In Tollywood, almost all the small films have released on Amazon Prime recently. The sudden lockdown has left the producers of the film just with one option and that is- sell it to OTT!
Even Big Films like 'V' and 'RED' are desperately waiting for Theatrical release but that's not going happen anytime soon! As the crisis gets worse day by day, Theaters will not be opened for the next three months or so.
Earlier news sources said that the OTT giant Amazon Prime has consulted Sravanthi Ravi Kishore for 'RED' to release directly on OTT. It is said that these producers were offered fancy amount. Ram the protagonist in 'RED' has seriously rejected the offer and because the actor doesn't want to let go off the mass craze he got with 'Ismart Shankar'.
Now latest sources say that the makers of this film are unable to bear the crisis and is said to have convinced the star for an OTT release and it would be the first bug mass film to be released on OTT in this season. 'RED' directed by Thirumala Kishore is an official remake of Tamil Thriller 'Thadam'.
