Is This The Reason Behind PROs Meet?

The tradition of PROs is not new in the Telugu film industry. It was there during NTR.. ANR period and it is continuing in the present generation. Some heroes appoint permanent PROs for them and others change PROs based on the banner they are working at that time.

Though there are several PROs in the film industry, there is neither registered association nor an organisation for them to take care of their issues. As the number of heroes and heroines are increasing in Tollywood and the number of films is increasing, press meet timings are clashing with each other sometimes. Sometimes they are missing other events when they are attending the press meet of a particular hero. To avoid this confusion and to bring all the PROs onto the same page, PROs have conducted a meeting recently.

Nearly 15 PROs attended the meeting in Film Nagar Cultural Centre(FNCC) and they have discussed various issues related to their profession. They have also discussed how to solve the issues of PROs. They have reportedly discussed the issue of increasing gap between the PROs with some section of the media and how to decrease it. The complete details of their meeting and its conclusion on some issues are yet to emerge.
