Victory Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya's multi-starrer, 'Venky Mama' is a family entertainer coming in December with a lot of expectations. The film has a positive vibe around it and people are waiting for its release. The makers have already started the promotions but are yet to decide on the release date.
After dropping the idea of arriving during the Pongal festive season, the team is having confusion in deciding between the dates, 13th and 25th of December. As 20th was already booked by 'Prathiroju Pandage' and 'Ruler', the team of 'Venky Mama' needs to decide the suitable date. The makers thought of releasing it on 13th which happens to be Venkatesh's birthday. But, trusted sources say that they changed their mind and are coming on 25th to cash in on the Christmas and New Year holidays.
If this becomes true, then the films releasing on 20th December will find it tough to utilize the holiday season as people tend to prefer to watch the new release instead of the old ones.
