Is Vijay Devarakonda Craze Going Down?

There are a lot of young heroes in Tollywood but Vijay Devarkonda rose to stardom in quick succession. The youth started obsessing over his looks and style after the stupendous success of 'Arjun Reddy'. He made himself close to the family audience with his soft boy act in 'Geetha Govindham'. Everyone thought that he is the next star in the making but his brand value seems to be sliding down off late.
'Taxiwala' majorly worked because of his craze but his highly promoted film, 'Dear Comrade' ended up as a failure. After that, Vijay changed his offscreen style and mellowed down a bit. His reckless attitude seems to have disappeared.
His first production venture 'Meeku Maatrame Cheptha' is not getting the desired reception. He promoted the film differently and aggressively but none of it helped the film. Youth who tend to go gaga over Vijay's words seems to have lost interest in them. All these incidents lead to one conclusion. If he doesn't give a blockbuster with 'World Famous Lover' or 'Fighter', his brand value may go down even further.
