IT Officials differ with Vijay's CLEAN Claim

Following the reports in media regarding his tax evasion for 5 years, Vijay brushed aside the allegations and offered a clean chit to himself by claiming he is a law-abiding citizen who followed the rules of the land.
However, Income Tax Department differs with the claims of the Tamil Star. A Senior IT Official who is very much involved in the raids against Kollywood Celebs a day before the release of 'Puli' confirms: "Vijay has evaded tax. We will soon release a statement regarding this matter".
On September 30th, IT Sleuths raided the offices and houses of 10 Prominent Kollywood Celebs including Vijay, Samantha, Nayantara and 'Puli' Producers. After simultaneous raids at 35 places in Chennai, Hyderabad, Madurai, Trivandrum and Kochi, The Officials recovered Rs 2 crore in cash, Rs 2 crore worth Jewellery and crucial documents. The combined Tax Evasion of all these celebs could be around Rs 100 crore, as per Media Reports.
