IT Officials Find 300 Crores In Kollywood Raids

As we know, the Income Tax officials have been raiding the homes and offices of some people in Kollywood which made the headlines recently. They claimed on Thursday that they found 300 crores of unidentified money in the residence and office of a prolific financier.
Though the officials did not reveal his name, he was rumoured to be Anbu Chezhiyan who also owns a production banner. Sources reveal that about 38 places were raided in Chennai and Madhurai combinedly where they found 77 crores of cash which belonged to the hidden financier. Apart from them a big pile of promissory notes, property documents and post-dated cheques were taken hold by the officials. The statement revealed officially says, "As per the evidence detected during the search, the concealment is likely to exceed Rs 300 crore."
Tamil superstar Vijay's office and house were also searched which grabbed a lot of attention. It was done as he was expected to be linked with AGS Group who funded 'Bigil'. Let us see how far these searches go and what are they going to find in the coming days.
