Pan-India film is the new trend in Indian cinema. Thanks to the Bahubali franchise, the filmmakers from the southern industries are coming with Pan-India films. The majority of Pan-India films are coming from Tollywood. With the theatres in Maharashtra gearing up for reopen, the Pan-India films are locking dates for the releases.
The Sankranthi 2022 is going to be a feast for the audience with two Pan-India films coming from Telugu locking horns. Rajamouli starrer RRR and Young Rebel Star Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam have announced the release dates for the Sankranthi season.
The makers of RRR gave a big update on the release date. RRR will land in the theatres on the 7th of January next year. The official release date was announced on social media by the RRR team. "Experience India's Biggest Action Drama, #RRRMovie in theatres worldwide on 7th Jan 2022," the makers said.
Radhe Shyam had announced 14 January 2022 as the release date earlier. Sankranthi, one of the main seasons for the Tollywood business, will see two big films fighting with each other. Radhe Shyam stars Prabhas and Pooja Hegde as the lead pair.
RRR has a few plus points compared to Radhe Shyam. The high-ticket film is a multi-starrer and stars two of the big Tollywood stars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. The biggest positive factor for RRR is sensational director Rajamouli. As the northern audiences have seen Bahubali, they are waiting to see RRR in theatres.
