Ittefaq Trailer Draws Mixed Reactions
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Oct 2017 5:43 AM'Ittefaq' is the upcoming Bollywood thriller starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna. The movie is a remake of the Bollywood film of the same title released in 1969. Rajesh Khanna, Nanda played the key roles in the original film.
The makers have released the trailer recently and it is getting mixed reactions in the social media. The 2-minute 27 seconds trailer appears to be gripping as the movie theme revolves around a double murder case. Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi are the suspected to be involved in the murders. Akshaye Khanna played the police officer role investigating the case. Among the three lead actors, it was Akshaye Khanna who stole the show with his unique style.
The trailer is gripping on the whole but netizens are showing some flaws in the remake. They are saying that the director is missing some points while remaking the 1969 classic to 2017. The first flaw is, the taxi meets with the accident and the hero climbs up to the first floor for asking help. In the original film, the hero enters a bungalow and obviously it is on the ground floor. The question is why would a person in hurry go to the first floor of the flat rather than asking for a help on the ground floor?
Another point, Sonakshi's husband comes late from the office but he doesn't have another key for the flat. Even if we ignore it, the door doesn't have a peephole. Netizens are pointing out that we are in 2017.. not 1969. The director should have considered this kind of minute things when he is remaking a film. Irrespective of the all these things, the trailer is trending in no. 1 position on YouTube. Watch the trailer here.
