Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan invited trouble by being vocal about the much-debated intolerance issue. Few weeks ago, King Khan commented there is extreme intolerance in India during an interview on his 50th Birthday. On Monday, Mr.Perfectionist who graced an awards ceremony told intolerance kept growing in India in the past few months and his wife Kiran Rao advised it would be better to move out of India as she fears for her son's safety.
The remarks of Shahrukh & Aamir didn't go down well with a section of people and hence there was a huge backlash. It has come to stage that #IWillNotWatch campaign welcoming people to boycott the films of Aamir & Shahrukh has been trending since a day. To make things worse, Even Snapdeal which was endorsed by Aamir Khan is facing the ire of people now. Netizens begun #AppWapsi campaign against the e-commerce website.
Well, Aamir Khan don't have any new releases in the near future and hence he is in a safe zone. But, Shahrukh will be worrying as 'Dilwale' is releasing on December 18th, 2015.
Analysts say, Aamir & Shahrukh joining the intolerance debate will affect their films business to some extent.
