Hero effect: Jeans Company withdraws ad
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Nov 2016 4:44 AM GMTNot just one hero or heroine, but every sensible guy on social media criticised the latest hoarding ad of Jack Jones brand where hero Ranvir Singh is seen taking a girl by his shoulders, and the caption reads, "Don't hold back, Take work home".
"A new low for women's rights in the workplace in India. What were they thinking? #Fail", is what hero Siddharth tweeted couple of days back, and many Bollywood activists also slammed the ad. How could he take a girl home and say taking work home, and that too the dress of that girl is too sexist.
Responding the backlash, Jack Jones removed the hoardings everywhere and tweeted to all the celebs who fired at them, "We didn't intend to offend anyone with one of our billboards. #NOTHOLDINGBACK and withdrawing it immediately".
Look at the hash tag, even though they are withdrawing the ad, the Swedish Jeans brand is still promoting their lines.
