Jagga Jasoos doesn't get an uniform mandate!
By: Tupaki Desk | 15 July 2017 9:08 AM GMTJagga Jasoos, Katrina and Ranbir starrer movie made by Anurag Basu, who directed Barfi with the star lastly in 2012. The movie has been selected as the official entry to Oscars and the latest movie had a lot of buzz due to Ranbir and Katrina love story and also being the movie from Barfi makers.
Well, the movie released after many delays and after being in production for more than three years. Fans of Ranbir and Katrina wanted to see their favourites one last time on screen as the couple announced their break up and officially stated that they won't be acting with each other further. The public talk and reviews for the movie are highly mixed and the mandate doesn't seem to be uniform.
As the movie is a big musical, a genre that Indian Cinema has forgotten for years, people are finding it boring. Even though few claimed that the chemistry is good many said that Ranbir had to shoulder all the responsibility. Even though the movie's visuals have received some praise, not all liked the saturated heavy colours used for the movie.
Even reviewers seemed to not have a uniform opinion. Some said the movie will stand the test of time while some claimed the film is a missed opportunity. On the whole, fans of Ranbir are not entirely happy with the choice of his films, as the actor did not deliver an unanimous hit after his Yeh Jawaani Hein Deewani that released way back in 2013.
