Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, starring Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role has been pending for a while now. Due to sudden outbreak, the release of the film was stalled. And now, the wait is over.
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is all set to stream directly on the OTT platform on 12 August, skipping the traditional theatrical release.
The Dhadak actress took to Instagram to announce the release date and said, "Proud to bring to you the story of India's first woman Air Force Officer to go to war."
"A journey that I hope will inspire you the way that it has inspired me," she added.
Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film also stars Viineet Kumar, Manav Vij and Ayesha Raza in pivotal roles. This film is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios.
