Jayalalithaa biopic shelved

The biopic of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa went on floors few months ago. Except for the Climax, Shoot of the entire movie has been wrapped up already. Even changes have been made to the climax block after the demise of Jayalalithaa.
All of a sudden, Director Faisal Saif declared Jayalalithaa biopic has been shelved. 'I received threat calls from many people who have political aspirations. Even the Producer had lost the hope as these people began believing we have targeted Amma. Why would we do so? At least, They should have judged after watching the movie,' he says.
Ragini Dwivedi is essaying the role of Jayalalithaa in the biopic. Prashanth Narayan and Rajpal Yadav are cast in significant characters.
Some time ago, Trisha and Ramya Krishna expressed their wish to do Jayalalithaa's biopic if a promising director approaches them with a perfect script.
