The whole focus of Andhrites is on the Nandyal by-election. Both Ruling Party and Main Opposition has been campaigning very aggressively to send a positive indication to their party cadre and people of AP over their winning chances in 2019 Polls. Parties in fray have been trying to woo the voters in various manner.
Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy opined different tactics have been followed by political parties to win elections and there is nothing wrong about it. 'This isn't Gandhi-Nehru zamana. So, These things are quite common,' he added.
The Parliamentarian declares there can't be hue & cry over bribing of voters. How should people understand his statement? Does that mean victory matters the most not how it's been achieved?
In addition, JC clarified he wouldn't be contesting 2019 General Elections. He, however, didn't confirm whether or not his son Pawan Kumar Reddy would be his political successor.
