Jersey Disaster: Rumors Rife on Ram Charan's RC16

The film industry is a tough place to survive at. One day, you are the king, the next day you could end up in the rags. Success is everything here. If you score a box office blockbuster, all the star heroes will queue up to work with you. If you score a flop, you will be left with no options. Something similar is being speculated about RC16 which was initially announced with Ram Charan and Gowtham Tinnanuri.
Not so long ago, Gowtham announced RC16 which marks his collaboration with Ram Charan. Charan was expected to take up this project once he is done with RC15 which is helmed by Shankar. But Gowtham's latest film, Jersey, which is the Hindi remake of his Telugu film with the same title, has bombed at the box office. IT is returning dismal revenues at the Hindi box office, much to the dismay of everyone involved.
The failure of Jersey has led to specualtions on RC16 and things appear to be going south now. There are reports that Ram Charan is reconsidering the idea of working on RC16 as he is not so sure about collaborating with Gowtham after the latter delivered a huge box office dud with Jersey.
These reports claim that Charan is not in the mood to experiment around this time, especially so after the blockbuster success of RRR and that is the reason why he is reconsidering the prospect of RC16 with Gowtham Tinnanuri. That said, this is just a wild speculation for now and there is no official announcement on the same till now.
Moreover, a superstar like Ram Charan will not be willing to shelve project after announcing it. Especially, after RRR, the entire nation will look at Charan's upcoming line up. At this point in time, shelving a project will send the wrong signals. So, we have to wait and see if Charan will actually make the tough call of shelving RC16 or go ahead with the project.
