Jewellery brand apologies for Aish ad
By: Tupaki Desk | 23 April 2015 10:36 AM GMTIt is already known that the latest print advertisement of a popular jeweller company that features Aishwarya Rai Bachhan as their brand ambassador got nailed by the critics. As everyone called the advertisement as racial and promoting child labour, Aish has earlier made it clear that the final art work is the prerogative of ad agency.
Responding over the whole issue, the jewellery brand apologised this way:
"The creative was intended to present the royalty, timeless beauty and elegance. However, if we have inadvertently hurt the sentiments of any individual or organisation, we deeply regret the same. We have started the process of withdrawing this creative from our campaign”.
That should end the menace around this ad-campaign and Aish!!
