Jhanvi, who is debuting with Dhadak, a remake of a hit Marathi film, is being compared with mother Sridevi. But, she wants people not to compare her with Sridevi. "I am Sridevi's daughter. But, do not compare me with her. This is a very huge pressure. It is very difficult to match up to my mom. So, I told everyone on the sets to view me as a newcomer and not as Sridevi's mother," says Jhanvi. She says Sridevi had put in lot of hard work spanning several years to acquire the star image. "I too need time. As of now, as a new comer, I just want to get pass marks, she says.
Jhanvi says though she is not trying to imitate her mother, her image will definitely affect her. "I appeal to the viewers to support me as Sridevi's daughter, but do not compare me with her," she says.
