Why Did Jr NTR Start Hating Cricket?
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 Sep 2021 10:27 AM GMTAfter his brief stint with the inaugural season of Bigg Boss Telugu, Jr NTR is making his appearance on the small screens again with Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu. The first two episodes of the show featured Ram Charan and Jr NTR. These two episodes caught the attention of small screen audiences and turned out to be smashing successes. Now, commoners are taking part in the show as Jr NTR is hosting it. The candid conversations between the commoners and Jr NTR are standing as the USP of the show. In the recently aired episode, Jr NTR shared an interesting incident involving him and his father, Harikrishna.
"Back in the day, my father Harikrishna used to watch Cricket together. But it isn't as straightforward as it sounds. My father used to leave the house early in the morning. So, he used to ask me to record the entire cricket match on a dedicated recorder. He even taught me how to use the VCR to record to match. I had to watch the entire match in the morning and then after my father returns home in the evening, he used to ask me to watch the entire game with him again. This way, I had to watch the same match twice on the same day. I then lost interest in watching Cricket on TV after these multiple viewings," Jr NTR said.
The Nandamuri hero went on to say that he does enjoy playing cricket a lot, but watching it live on TV isn't something that he cherishes. However, the memory of watching countless cricket games with my father will always remain close to my heart, Jr NTR said. This sparkling revelation gives a glimpse of the kind of bonding Jr NTR and his late father Harikrishna shared back when the former was a young kid. Jr NTR made these statements while speaking with a commoner on the infotainment show, Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu.
On the work front, Tarak recently completed shooting for RRR. He is set to take his next project, NTR30 onto the floors very soon. This action drama will be directed by Koratala Siva.
