Even though Varun Dhawan is a famous actor, Judwaa2 became more important and popular in Telugu states because of Tapsee and her comments prior to the movie release. She commented on Telugu Cinema and it's style. She also talked about how she hates glamour roles and why she did only them in Telugu despite being talented to pull off serious roles in movies like Naam Shabana and Pink.
