Ever since her comeback, Jyothika continued preferring female-centric movies which are based on social issues or those containing undercurrent message. 'Raatchasi' is one such beautiful movie in which the Senior Actress appears as a Teacher who changes the way a school functions with her impeccable grit.
Promo Opens with Jyothika coming to a Government School as a New Teacher Geetha Rani. How she changed the unruly behaviour of the students, made teachers behave responsibly and fought against anti-social elements forms rest of the tale.
In a sequence, Jyothika questioned, 'Do we need Schools to create wage workers and criminals? I am unsure what's the Government's idea of eradicating poverty'.
