Vishwanath's Relation With Godavari

More than any one else, the people of Godavari districts are happy for this award. The reason is that most of Vishwanath's classics were shot on the banks of Godavari.
Vishwanath's evergreen classic 'Sankarabharanam' which is regarded as the pride of Telugu cinema, has been shot on the banks of Godavari. 'Sarada' movie was shot in Rajahmundry.. Inugantivaripeta.. Munikudali areas. Shobhan Babu's 'Jeevana Jyothi' was shot in the beautiful Konaseema region. Even 'Jeevitha Nauka' was also shot here. 'Sirisirumuvva' was shot in Rajahmundry.
'Swathi Muthyam'.. 'Swathi Kiranam'.. 'Suthradharulu'.. 'Subhapradam'.. all these movie were shot on the banks of Godavari. As most of Vishwanath's films were shot in Godavari districts, local people of these districts are saying that the award to Vishwanath is in turn a great honour for Godavari also.
