Veteran Telugu actor Kaikala Satyanarayana who is known for getting into the skin of the character is no more. The 87-year-old is not well these days due to age-related elements. Kaikala Garu breathed his last during the early hours of Friday and his house in Hyderabad. His family shared the news with a lot of pain.

Kaikala Satyanarayana had a glorious career that lasted for around six long decades and he played many iconic roles. But he shot to super fame by playing the role of Yamudu, the King of Narakam as per Hindu mythology.

He played Yamudu roles in many films and entertained us every time he played the role. His personality is such that no one is a match for him as far as the Yamudu's character is concerned.

His voice and diction need special mention here. Seeing him in the character is itself entertaining and he touched many genres like social, mythology, historical, and others. He gets into the shoes of the character easily.

The specialty in his career is that he acted with five generations of actors. His career lasted for around six long decades and he acted in over 800 films. Kaikala will always have a special space in the hearts of Telugu movie lovers and no one can deny that.

Kaikala played many roles but Yamudu's character is special. The impact he left on the character is such that his face flashes in Telugu audiences' minds when they hear Yamudu'd name. Seeing him deliver powerful dialogues as Yamudu gives goosebumps to everyone.

Many actors played Yamudu's character but no one is a match for Kaikala. The reel Yamudu went to the real Yamudu with his sudden demise. The actor's health is not keeping well these days and he passed away today.

Legendary actor Kaikala Satyanarayana also tried his luck in politics. He supported Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao when he floated the grand old Telugu Desam Party. Around one and a half decades after the party was founded, Kaikala ventured into electoral politics and served as the MP. He served as the Machilipatnam MP after the 1996 polls.
