Kamal Wants To Change Hero For Marudhanayagam

We are aware of Kamal Haasan's magnum opus 'Marudhanayagam', which was launched by Queen Elizabeth in 1997. This is a periodic film which revolves around the life of the 18th century warrior Mohammad Yusuf Khan. Though the film kick-started in 1997, it was shelved due to various reasons.
In a live interaction with Vijay Sethupathi on Instagram, Kamal was asked about his dream project Marudhanayagam.
Kamal replied, "I envisaged that the character in the film would be around 40 years of age, but I'm too old to play that now. So the only option would be either to change the storyline or cast some other younger actor to play the role if we get the money to bankroll it. However, Kamal concluded that he did not have plans of working on it in the present circumstances.
