Kangana appreciates Gangubai Kathiawadi!

Kangana Ranaut is known for turning tables according to the situation. She praises someone one day and you never know when she will turn into their biggest critic. Except for Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, she has been critical about every big star and she even calls Karan Johar as Mafia head.

As she started working on Lock Upp show for Alt Balaji app owned by Ekta Kapoor, who is a friend of Karan Johar, she seems to have decided to praise him off handed. She wrote on her Instragram stories, "Never expected that the movie mafia will rise to the occasion and do something good. If they do we will be absolutely appreciative. Hoping for the best."

Her close relations with producer Boney Kapoor after being part of his Hindi films, is known to the world and hence, she praised Valimai box office performance and included Telugu big movie Bheemlanayak opening also, by writing, "Happy to hear theatres are being revived in South film industry with record-breaking collections."

She did not stop there, she went on to praise Gangubai Kathiawadi's big opening upto 10 crores Nett gross on opening day but did not mention Alia Bhatt at all. She wrote, "I hear some baby steps are being taken in the Hindi belt also. With recent female-centric film which has a big hero and a superstar director. They may be baby steps but they are not insignificant. They will be crucial for theatres that are on ventilators here. Great."

Well, the actress is known for starting an unwanted controversy to get attention and then turn her back to it, when she feels the heat is too high for her handle. She did the same with nepotism remarks, same with Bollywood Mafia remarks and repeated here again.

She kept poking at Hrithik Roshan and his family until the issue gets bigger. She is doing it with Alia Bhatt also. But for now, she needs to appear in front of everyone as a neutral candidate and she did exactly that. Don't you feel that way?

Anyways, Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi took a decent opening for any female centric film and the talk about the film is positive too. Mahashivratri holiday should help it to recover costs even with 50% occupancy rate only allowed in Delhi circuit.

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed the movie and produced it with Pen India. Ajay Devgn appeared in a cameo in the film.
