Multiple National Award winner Kangana Ranaut is an actress who never shies away from speaking her mind. She often lands herself in controversies due to her bold and no holds barred comments on the bigwigs of Bollywood. She has hatred toward Karan Johar and often called him as the 'Flag Bearer of Nepotism'. She criticized the culture of Nepotism and the domination of a few families in Bollywood.

As we know, 'Brahmastra' produced by Karan Johar came out on 9th September. It is the costliest film in Bollywood and features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Directed by Ayan Mukherji, this film released under massive expectations and couldn't live up to it.

Kangana took this opportunity and went all guns blazing on director Ayan Mukherji and producer Karan Johar. She said, "Everyone who called @ayan_mukerji a genius should be jailed immediately. He took 12 years to make this film, he replaced 14 DOPs...he shot for more than 400 days for this film and changed 85 ADs and burnt Rs 600 crores to ashes."

She posted a screenshot of a bad review and penned, "This is what happens when you try to sell a lie, @karanjohar in every show forces people to call @aliabhatt and Ranbir best actors and @ayan_mukerji a genius…slowly he started to believe this lie…what else explains the 600 crore budget of this film to a director who never made a good enough film in his life…Fox studio in India had to sell itself to fund this film…How many more studios will be closed because of this clowns?"

Bashing Karan Johar, she posted, "People like Karan Johar should be questioned for their conduct, he is more interested in everyone's sex life than in his films scripts." This is in context to the controversial questions he often asks the celebrities on his 'Koffee With Karan' show.

She added, "He self admittedly buys reviews, stars and fake collection numbers and tickets. This time around he tried to ride Hinduism and the South wave…all turned pujaris suddenly and begged south actors, writers and directors to promote their film…they will do everything but not hire competent writers, directors, actors and other talent."
