Multiple National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut is awaiting the release of her film 'Thalaivi'. This story about late Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister and legendary actress Sri Jayalalitha was supposed to get released on 23rd April but got postponed.
Since the theatres are being shut down, the rumors about the prospect of this movie having an OTT release went viral. It spread like wildfire and it caught the notice of Kangana who decided to give a clear explanation. She lashed out at the people spreading rumors and stated that Amazon Prime Video bought the Tamil rights while Netflix bagged the Hindi rights but they will be out digitally only after the theatrical run of 'Thalaivi' gets completed.
She made it clear that the film's team will be taking legal action against people who are spreading such false rumors. She clearly mentioned that a section of Bollywood is trying to damage the reputation of her and this film. 'Thalaivi' is directed by AL Vijay and produced on a grand scale. The trailer impressed the audience a lot.
