In the wake of the Diwali festival, several activists and celebrities are appealing to people to celebrate cracker free festival to avoid noise and sound pollution. Through social media, celebrities are urging everyone to not use crackers. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut joined the debate and lambasted those who are endorsing cracker-free Diwali.

Taking a dig at the endorsers, Kangana Ranaut urged the so-called activists to not use cars for a few days so that they can save the environment. Taking to Instagram, she took a dig at the activists and asked them to not use cars for their commute.

Kangana Ranaut shared a video on her Instagram that shows Indian yoga guru Sadhguru walking down memory lane to remember how he used to celebrate Diwali in his childhood days by saving a few crackers and lighting them after the festival.

In two stories, Kangana Ranaut said, these words are coming from a person who has a world record in green cover by planting millions of trees. The B-town actress asked the activists to not use the cars for a few days."Perfect answer to all Diwali environment activists walk to your office don't use cars for three days," Kangana's story reads. "He is the man who caused world record of green cover by planting millions of trees," Kangana added.

It has to be noted that a few state governments have announced a ban on firecrackers. The Delhi government took a step ahead and reportedly filed cases on a few people for bursting crackers. Amid this, the actress hit back at the moral police.

Kangana Ranaut's last outing was Thalaivii, a biopic on Jayalalithaa, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and yesteryear Kollywood Superstar. She has projects like Dhaakad and Tejas in hand which will hit the theatres next year.

Kangana Ranaut had won the National Award as the best actress for 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi' and 'Panga'. The award she received at the 67th National Award marks her fourth international award. Appearing at the award ceremony in traditional attire, the Queen actress shared pictures of her receiving the award from his excellency Vice President Venkaiah Naidu.
