Kangana Ranaut extended her support to the filmmakers who revolted against the Censor Board in the wake of controversy over numerous cuts suggested for 'Udta Punjab'.

The 'Queen' Star feels there is no need for parental attitude towards audience and filmmakers deserve creative freedom. She told people whom she knew were disturbed by the sequence of incidents happening in connection with 'Udta Punjab' censor.

On the occasion, Kangana shared her personal experience with Censorship prior to 'Queen' release. 'In 'Queen', There is one particular scene where a boy spots a bra on my bed. I was told by Director Vikas Bahl, who looked very angry, that Censor has blurred the bra as they found it vulgar. There is nothing vulgar about a woman's bra and its not a danger to society either,' she opined.

Currently, 'Udta Punjab' uncut release issue is in the Bombay High Court. HC directed the Censor Board to explain the changes it suggested in the movie for theatrical release.
