Kangana Ranaut Responds On Aarey Metro Shed Issue

Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray planned Metro car shed at Aarey forest area in Mumbai's western suburbs. However, after facing severe criticism and opposition from several groups and environmentalists, the government on Sunday shifted the project to Kanjurmarg due to the falling of trees in Aarey Milk Colony.
Sharing her views on this, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took to social media and wrote, "First world problems of a few fancy activists are not #Mumbaikars problems, last year I planted more than one Lakh saplings, not cutting trees is good but stopping urbanisation only to suit powerful and wealthy's agendas is not the solution but part of the problem #Aarey #Metro," Kangana tweeted.
Meanwhile, several celebrities hailed the government's decision to relocate the metro car shade.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will next be seen in the biopic of late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa. She recently shared pictures from the sets of 'Thalaivi' wherein she could be seen sporting Jayalalithaa look.
