Writer Kanika (W/O Size Zero Director K Prakash) is a native of Amritsar. Her father is a Businessman and mom is a Principal. Since her childhood, She had the dream of becoming a Writer and that's how the journey started. When she was working for Shahrukh Khan's firm in Mumbai, K Prakash came to know about her while searching for a promising writer. After working together, They fell in love and married 5 years later. Prakash was the first to propose and it wasn't in a cinematic style.

K Raghavendra Rao was very much happy when Prakash told him about his decision to lead his life with Kanika as he had never shown interest in marriage until then. The biggest surprise came in the form of Mother's immediate acceptance for the alliance as Raghavendra Rao felt his wife might oppose Prakash's decision.

The one quality Kanika likes about Prakash is that he doesn't act in real life and leads life on his own terms without pretending or changing himself to please someone. Coming to Prakash, He admires Kanika's sense of humour, friendly & good hearted nature.
