Kannada Star Hero Crucial Role In Varun Tej Film

Kannada Star Hero Upendra Rao had debuted to the film industry in 1989 with Anantana Avantara film. Since from then, Upendra has acted in ten's of films in Telugu and bagged a huge fan following. After that, he concentrated on Kannada films and stayed away from Tollywood.
Lastly, he appeared in S/O Satyamurthy and mesmerised the audience with his acting. But after that, he hasn't done any Telugu films.
In a recent interview, he confirmed that he is going to play a key role in Varun Tej's boxing-themed film. He also said why he stayed away from Telugu films. Most of the producers had approached him for the villain roles, so, he is in a confusion to take up these kinds of roles. While waiting for the right script and character, he liked the character in Varun's film and gave a nod to act in this.
