Kantara Dominates GodFather In Chiranjeevi's Stronghol!

Megastar Chiranjeevi's Godfather was released with good hype and it also received good reviews. But the reviews did not translate into collections. The box office numbers were not that great in some areas. Despite having a festival release the Megastar starrer could not make the best out of it.
The Nizam area has been one of the strong zones of Megastar Chiranjeevi for a very long time. In the strong zone too Godfather failed to create a big impact. Compared to other big films, the Megastar starrer's collections are not that great which is a big shock. Even the Mega fans could not believe that Godfather had not to so good performance at the box office.
On the other hand, the Kannada film Kantara set the box office on fire with good collections. Despite being a dubbed film the action thriller attracted good numbers and it is said that the film already collected Rs 11 crores in the Nizam area as per the trade experts
Content is the king they say and Kantara proved it yet again. It started as small in Kannada and took over the box office across the languages. Not just the Telugu language, Kantara attracted good collections in the northern belt too.
