Apologise Or Deposit 100 Cr: Kapil Sharma

Kapil Sharma is one of the most popular comedians in India. The TV star who made it big with Comedy Nights With Kapil Sharma show has a huge fan following. Apart from his huge popularity, he often grabs the headlines with controversies as well.
It is known that the controversy surrounding Kapil Sharma slapping a fellow comedian under the influence of alcohol has dented his image. Recently, a website has published some negative stories and phone conversation of Kapil Sharma. They have reported that Kapil Sharma behaves rude and he is not punctual when it comes to work.
This has irked the comedian and he sent a legal notice to the journalist demanding a public apology. He gave a seven days deadline to tender his apology and if he fails to do so, he has to deposit Rs.100 crores in Defense Fund. Kapil Sharma alleged that the journalist had blackmailed him saying that he will expose the tapes unless Rs.25 lakhs paid to him.
On the work front, his latest show 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma' has been stopped after telecasting three episode. Kapil is saying that he needs some time to recuperate as he has been working hard for a long time. He said there are a few exciting projects in the pipeline and he will reveal about them soon.
