Did Mani Ratnam found his Lead Pair?

Mani Ratnam is facing a lot of hardships these days when it comes to the casting of his projects. This is the major reason behind the long gap between his releases in the past five years.
'Ok Bangaram' released in April last year. Till date, Mani Ratnam's next project hasn't gone on floors.
The Acclaimed Filmmaker wanted to make a multi-starrer with Karthi, Dulquer Salmaan/Nani, Nithya Menon & Keerthy Suresh but it didn't work out. Then, he held talks with Rana Daggubati & Naga Chaitanya for the multi-starrer, and even this didn't materialize.
As per grapevine, Mani Ratnam has finally zeroed in Karthi and 'Premam' fame Sai Pallavi as lead pair for his next project. It is learnt that Sai Pallavi even done a photo shoot at Madras Talkies office recently. Probably, This project goes on floors in February this year.
