Mercury Is A Rare Film In Indian Cinema

Mercury starring Prabhu Deva in a lead role, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Pizza, Jigarthanda fame, is releasing in Telugu on 13th April.
Karthik Subbaraj, the director of the movie talked about the film, he said, "We tried a completely new concept for this film."
He continued, "I did this film with pure horror in mind. I was fascinated by silence and the affects of it. This film wil just run on that aspect and you can be assured about it being interesting."
After Pusphak/Pushpakavimanam, a film by Kamal Haasan and Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, this is the first film to go completely silent and being a horror film, it will be more visual than any other film in this genre in recent history.
It is a highly unique film with Prabhu Deva trying to showcase his talents as an actor and not a dancer. The second trailer of the film, proves that the movie is a complete experiment from the makers.
