When Tollywood faced two back-to-back disastrous months, August gave the industry a big hope that audiences are ready to hit the theatres if they like films. Tollywood scored a double goal with films like Sita Ramam and Bimbisara released on the same day turning out as hit films.
Making August, one of the crucial and successful months for the industry in recent times, as many as three films earned good success at the box office. More particularly, Karthikeya 2 is getting bigger and bigger. The Pan India film is going forward in an unexpected way.
To show how the film is creating wonders in the north belt, Karthikeya 2 struggled to get theatres there as two big films Laal Singh Chadda and Raksha Bandhan hit the theatres at the same time. With the content in the film hitting the bull's eye, the Nikhil starrer is getting good response.

Karthikeya managed to get just 50 shows when it was released. Cut to one week later, now the film is running with more than 2,000 shows. This is a terrific growth.
